When speaking with robots don't expect them to understand cultural nuances. They are machines after all. This same rule applies to inanimate and semi-animate objects.

I feel I must disagree with you here. We have no idea what kind of technology robots have inside them. Take Cylons for example: I honestly feel Cylons are capable of emotion and complex thought, much like humans. The fact they wanted to anihilate everyone in the 13 Colonies proves this, because you can't be a grudge-holding sociopath if you aren't capable of truth emotion.

The should be "true" emotion not "truth".
